Ballabrigs has come in a lot. Can't see it though.

I've had a few winners in this in the past. I rarely don't get one in the top 4. I didn't get the winner last year though so hopefully I will get it this year.

Hate this race, just cruel on the Horses IMO.
The size of the jump hedges is a discase.

    Yes.

They need to make the hedges higher imo.

With the big race only 2 days away I thought it would be interesting to see which horses the TalkCeltic community are planning to back on Saturday.

I usually back 2 each year and I have my shortlist narrowed down to 5 horses. I still haven't decided which 2 I am going to plump for yet though.

So, who will you be backing on Saturday? If you could give a reason as well then that would be grand. :50:

*The poll is multiple choice so you can choose more than one option.

Teaforthree-jumps for fun, has won over 4 miles, and has been primed for Saturday.

Colbert Station-Ted Walsh horses always good for a go, and this is his best chance for me!

Always seem to pick a horse for the Irish one thatl be ahead for about 6/8 of the race and then drops down to 5th or 6th at the finish.

When I used to bet on the National I would pick horses by their names....if I liked the name, maybe it was unusual or meant something to me.

I won't be betting but if I was I'd be picking Balthazar King....got a connection to the name Balthazar
