Think johnson will be there or thereabouts tbh, boring or not.

Ive said for a year I fancied Morikawa but his form has fell off a cliff of late, but Im gonna stick a few quid on him.

Scheffler has been on great form of late too and got a slight feeling Speith might go close.

 

Think I’ll go for hovland myself and maybe a couple quid on morikawa as well

 

Scheffler for me speith is on a hot streak but can get lost quite easily among the bigger hitters it's is a course that suits his game tho, depending how soft the course I can see some very low scores, just hope Bob MacIntyre does well

I reckon you could make a good case for about 10 players. It’ll be really open and think we could have a really high number of players in the mix on the back 9 on Sunday.

Hopefully no one runs away with it.

Thomas & Speith are my top picks. Morikowa, Cantley, Hovland, to be top 10.

Don’t think Rahm or Johnson will do anything spectacular. I would like to see McIlroy to make a real challenge but still think he probably has a mental block or something that just hasn’t clicked at Augusta.

Outsiders Lowry, Niemann, Hatton I fancy to get a top10. Casey & Schauffele usually do well too.

I’d be amazed if Woods gets anywhere close. He’ll make the cut but wouldn’t be surprised if he finishes at least 10shots off the winner.

 

Went with Scheffler, DJ, Lowry and Henley. One of the best sporting events of the year and I’m off for all 4 days

2 birds in a row helps. Looks likely he’ll make the cut if he keeps that up.

 

Scheffler playing some great stuff. The confidence is oozing from him just now. I thought the spotlight on him with being world number 1 would maybe be to much of a weight on his shoulders, but he looks like he is relishing it. He will be difficult to catch, even with two rounds to go.

 

Coverage on sky is absolutely pish… unless ye pay for sky and have the red button option.

 

Scheffler been excellent, some great form leading upto this and would totally deserve it.

Still * I never took Smith he has a great chance, went with Thomas on Hotshots bet with Sky, knew I should have went with Smith as he was no1 in that rating going into the tournie, scheffler was 2nd.

 

McIlroy’s shot from the bunker at the 18th was class.

Then him cheering as Morikawa sinks his from the bunker moments later was a great wee moment.

Bit of a boring final day with one player so far ahead of the rest, which is probably why the thread wasn’t active.

Smith could have made it exciting but totally * the 12th.

Fair play to Scottie boy for cruising to victory though.

 

Even the red button was pish, the coverage of all the majors is * follow the same players whether the are 5 under or 12 over, never follows the form groups

What I thought Keano but you can understand a wee bit Scheffler playing safe golf , didn't make for the usual spectacle apart from the double chip ins on the 18th .

 

At last, some good interviews with golfers

 

Some of these players are coming across as pure * for signing up to this new tour. It's all about getting as much cash as they can get their mitts on, *.
