    Highlight of e3 for me this trailer, i loved the old * of war games but the gameplay and kratos himself got very stale by the time ascension came out which i played about 10 mins off and realised it just wasnt cutting it anymore. New game looks amazing and im excited to see what they are doing with the story, theyve clearly taken alot of ques from naughty dog.

    The trailer and demo were that good that they have me buzzing to play a game from a series I thought looked utter *.

    Changing the gameplay and tone of the game looks like a genius idea. The first 3, to me, just looked like hack and slash with Kratos shouting all the time. This looks a lot more mature and sombre.

    Got a lot of The Last of Us vibes from the demo in terms of the environment and having a kid tig along.

    It’s getting called the best game of this generation and a masterpiece etc, haven’t seen reviews like this since the Witcher 3 and the last of us... take my money

    Never played a * of war before...had a quick look and it says it’s open play but not open world - any idea what that means? Take it it’s not like thebwitcher or fallout but more like last of us?

    Yeah I would guess so. Linear structure but you can sort of explore.

    Anyone else got this today? Im about 1 or 2 hours in and really enjoying it atm. The visuals are jaw dropping and the combat is incredibly satisfying and fluid. The first main boss fight is * epic, I’m genuinely glad I bought this game already just because of this specific boss battle.

    It’s not necessary in terms of plot but it would help just to know more about Kratos character and his past. IGN I think has a video called a brief history of * of war up atm so I would check that out if you an overview of the previous games story.

    Just finished the story.

    It's a fantastic game. Goes on a bit too long, but the characters, action, twists etc are all great. Looking forward to the sequel.

    Norse mythology is cool as *.
