Had a trip with young lad booked a long time to Glasgow from Ireland for the oct 28 weekend thinking it was home league match v Motherwell .
Then betfred cupsemi final changed all that. We are still flying over early Saturday and flight back Sunday 8PM to Dublin .
Assuming I can source 2 tickets ??.. how doable is it to get to Edinburgh and back to be in Glasgow airport for 7 ?..not changing flights to Edinburgh as too dear ...is train from queen station best bet , seems I could leave Sunday AM at 9 and get 430 return back to glasgow ...

Your best chance of a ticket is contacting one of the CSC’s heading over.

Or if you send a PM to @Lion1961 he might be able to help you.

Is your flight taking off at 19:00? You’d be cutting it fine if that’s the case.

Thanks. I should read the post properly. :giggle1:

Seems do-able, but it’s cutting it fine.

Just do it and hope nothing goes to extra time :56: if so bring extra for a new flight home.

    No lol
If the match in murrayfield is 90 minutes only it would be over at 330 ... surely get to train station for 430 ...that train be in Glasgow for 530 ... get a taxi to airport .. be there for 630 surely ... flight isn’t until 820 but trying to be there for 7 ...
If it went to et .. might just have to leave. Police hardly keep all in ground or can you just exit yourself ?

I’d just get a bus from Glasgow George square (right outside queen st when you get of the Edin train) to the airport. probably quicker (unless you book in advance) than a cab and 1000% cheaper.
From what I recall murrayfield is close to both Edinburgh stations.

Time wise assuming doesn't go to extra time or penalties should make it to Glasgow airport no problem. You might be better checking if there is a bus that runs from Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow airport? But if not get the airport express bus from Glasgow Buchanan Street bus station.

Ticket wise far too early to know who will have spares but with the sheer size of the stadium almost certainly there will be spares on offer on the day.
