I saw him come on and play against Ferencvaros in October and he was a handful.

He obviously knows where the goal is as he was the top scorer in Holland last season, needs a run of games to get sharp.

Might sound like an overreaction but think the next 4 games are going to determine bjs career here.

Personally think against the Huns we’d be better with a mobile option through the middle but he’s going to have to take his chances coming now.

See how he gets on tonight but from what I’ve seen so far he’s big and strong. Perhaps with the likes of hatate and mcgregor playing good passes into him he can cause problems and get the goals. Think Josip on the right whipping balls in would be ideal for him too.

I’d be starting him today to get some confidence and goals into him

Think Meada will start with GG coming off the bench,no point in risking our only available striker for 90 minutes on a plastic pitch.

Or vice versa but makes sense to keep GG for the 3 games we’ll be short up top, make most of Maeda before he leaves.

Whats the point playing maeda, hes away.

Tbh going into this game without kyogo and maeda and maybe even jota gives me the fear, this guy will be meat and drink for the hun defence, the pace would have killed them for me.

The defence and forward line outway our midfield advantage for me and might be a bridge too far.

Id maybe even go with Abada through the middle, but then I start thinking the MJ type games we had.

Advantages for us are were at home and our midfield and if Jota is fit.

    Dont trust this guy tbh.

Time to see what this guy can really do starting tonight. Hope he's up to the task for these next few games.

I was impressed with the clear weight loss he has managed over the past while. He looked far trimmer when he came on against Hibs. Top scorer in Holland last year so a run of games could be just what he needs. Time to step up. I have a feeling he will.

The thought of having to play him gives me the fear.
'Big and Strong' his only attributes. That's good if you're playing under Big Sam or Tony Pulis.

I've actually been happy enough with his performances so far. His hold up play has been decent, he's put himself about and he took his goal very well earlier in the season.

He's had a terrible run of injuries. And that pentalty miss would have hurt his confidence.

But I definitely see a player in GG.

    Hope he can do it.

I really do have my doubts though but it would be great to have a reliable, different type of option for once.
