Poor * looks slow in comparison to Maeda and it was quite noticeable :56:

Done fine when he came on done well to hold off their CB when the ball came to him and found a team mate twice he made good runs/movement and should have been played in once by Rogic and Jota’s pass after some excellent link up play was too hard and didn’t give him a chance.

If Kyogo is out for a bit he may start on Saturday.

Def a player there if, and it's a big if he gets the game time I think he'll do very well.

He’s a very different option from what we have otherwise, which is a good thing. Just need to keep him fit.

:giggle1: Saying he’s blistering is a bit over the top.

Watching him you could see he was trying his hardest to play sharp, think that’s why he gave the “bull in a china shop” look as described by another poster. What I’m happy about is he now knows the standard required to play for Celtic, and that ain’t jogging around.

Ange said he worked during the break when others had the time off, he's looking thinner and fitter, and he looked determined when he came on tonight. All good signs, just needs to take his chances now.

I thought he was mince lol.

Good hold up play? He did it ONCE. Albeit very well.
He also made a good run. Or maybe two.

The rest of his minutes were divided up by mistimed runs and rolling about the deck holding his head.

Fella is way off the standard imo.

Thought he looked good tbh. He was clearly through a good 2-3 times aswel but nobody slipped the pass on. Shows he has power and can hold the ball up aswel. As a back up that gives something different, I was happy with his performance.

Was bang average, got in the way a few times. He did look fit-but thats a base requirement. Would actually start him Saturday, see how he goes for a full game.

Would agree about giving him the start in the Cup game v Alloa at the weekend. If Maeda gets called up, and not sure how long Kyogo may be sidelined for, we'll probably be needing Giakoumakis to lead the line through some pretty critical games, and Saturday is the perfect opportunity for to bang in a goal or two and get that confidence up.

Thought he had a few good moments but really not a lot happened in that last quarter hour or so to really say he was good bad or indifferent. Think there is a very good chance he will start on Saturday so if he does lets see how he looks in that game. Would be great if he plays well and gets a goal as he clearly does offer us a different option up front which could be very useful going forward.

For not much happening, he created the space for a cracking shot at the keeper always hard to score at that angle though.

He looked alot sharper anyway. Needs to get on some of these crosses if he's the big man. Thats what we're missing.

(Finally scored from a corner and it didn't count..)

Got to agree what I have seen from him so far and only clear cut chance that he had he couldn't score but was offside .
He needs to start producing the goods for what he was bought for and that is scoring goals and our new striker has already made his mark in four minutes by scoring .

So eager to make an impact, definitely gives us something different, needs another goal tho, Alloa ideal for him hopefully...

I think he has looked good nearly every sub app he’s made. Also got a goal in one of his 2 starts. It’s still early days but had that pen went in v Livi everybody would be excited about this guy.
