AP clearly is not going to play someone who is not fit - not even for 10 min when 3-0 up against lower league competition really says it all.

It's too soon to write him off before he has even kicked a ball but really, the question has to be asked what on earth was he doing prior to joining us, as clearly he wasn't knuckling down in pre-season training, so even if he was anticipating a move he should be at least fit and ready to impress when got to his new club.

Ffs. Not got a good feeling about this guy at all. We are the most unlucky team with injuries. Having said that it doesn't help that we are so * threadbare as it is.

Injured in a warm up, * priceless.

Actually nah, * £2.5million yet again looks to be wasted on a one season wonder who can get injured while doing the one thing meant to help prevent you get an injury when about to play a match.

Guess will give Anton McElhone something to do in his first 3 months of the job

Laughable, whole season relying on kyogo not being injured going to be a long one.

Wait, are some folk seriously trying to pin him picking up an unlucky injury in a warm up on Celtic??? :52:

Aye it’s typical of us but ultimately bad luck is all it is, pish luck actually.

Exactly, it's nobody's fault. Not Ange, not the player's and not the board's.

Our predicament isn't down to bad luck.

    It's down to bad recruitment.

This is one of the worst Celtic squads I've seen.

The options are so dire when one or two players pick up an injury.

No serious attempt at a rebuild in the summer at all has left us like this.

Ofcourse its not his fault. But on the other hand is it too much to ask to sign a player, who’s ex club was 4 games into a season, to be fit when he arrives? We signed a player a month ago and still is not fit enough. Now this, just frustrating stuff.

Hope the injury isnt bad though.

The scouting on this one has been brutal.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Let’s let common sense and patience apply.

im on record in here saying I have…..doubts.

but ffs, give the boy a chance. Other than a shoulder injury and appendicitis he’s had no issues in years, and zero relating to a calf muscle.

we can - as forum humans - be so reactive. It is what it is. Hopefully it’s precautionary, and only a result of a lack of game time and frankly over-eagerness.

There’s no * reason to give a new signing * before he’s even started.

Let’s just give him the shot he deserves when he’s ready - until I see him play 10-20 times I sure as * won’t be making my mind up on the fly.

You can’t scout a future calf strain mate.

True.....but you can for general fitness. Today's injury aside. He's not ready to play a full 90mins almost a month after signing. And that's not good enough.
