I'e got tickets for the Killers next again week.

I'm struggling to get into the new album. The last one hasn't lasted long either so hopefully they'll do all their old hits.

They've named Juanita Stein as the support. I had a listen to her and I'm not too sure on her.

Last time i seen them was at Nowhere Else To Roam tour at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1993.
Awesome gig with Megadeth , The Almighty and Diamond Head supporting.

Looking forward to Gery Cinnamon at the Baras on Xmas eve, eve.
Lewis Capaldi after that, quite interested in checking out some up & coming artists, or not so famous (yet) ones. Rather than forking out £00s for the big guns, who've made it huge.

This put me off getting a ticket for their Hydro show, it's basically Brandon Flowers with a backing band and even though he's a terrific frontman the whole situation with half the band not bothering to tour is bizarre.

I didn't realize this is how they were lining up it would have put me off too ,they came out i was thinking who the * are these * ,it was a good show but there was just something missing from a few of the songs guitar wise which blew me away any time I've seen the killers before

It's not just Brandon Flowers with a backing band at all. They have the main 2 people; the front man and the drummer. You don't even notice Mark and Dave not being there. And that's from their biggest fan...

I was down in Liverpool to see them, made me appreciate the new Album far more as their live sets normally do. All the big ones sound EXACTLY the same as they always have.

I've always thought Dave Keuning was a terrific guitar player, he'll definitely be missed. In the same way that Red Hot Chili Peppers lost something with John Frusciante. Some of his riffs (Mr. Brightside particularly) have become iconic, he always plays in service of the song and comes up with great non-showy parts that complement their synth-guitar sound.

When I go to gigs I like watching the different band members from time to time to see how they are onstage, how they're reacting to the crowd, what they're like with bandmates. I don't mind when bands employ extra guitarists or keyboard players or whatever but get the main four in there at least!

Bet your mate didn’t see the funny side :giggle1:

Never seen them live but after seeing recordings of their sets from TRNSMT, King Power Stadium and others they really are a great live band.

One of those bands that gets every single person in the crowd up and going crazy.
