We could just play Ely at left back, with MJ in front, talk about a curve ball...……….

    * knows who we're going to play at left back. Might have to be McGregor.

Taylor's cup tied. Hayes will probably be out injured, Boli struggling.

Will probably need to play Frimpong left and Bauer right.

Squad is looking a bit ropey for this and giving me the fear.

How do we always seem to have more injuries than anyone else?

I dunno. The mere memory of McGregor playing left back shouldn't make anyone feel relaxed.

We beat them here and we can completely derail their season, they've been teetering on lucky results for a while now (Livingstone, Motherwell both at home, Hamilton, St mirren away)

But McGregor will be in midfield this time. The problem wasn't McGregor at left back it was the fact he was missing from midfield.

A know the hype with Frimpong and that but a wouldn't start him in this. He's suss defensively. A would go with Bauer.

I think if frimpong ,elyanoussie ,christie , johnstone and eddy play we will destroy them . Their defence is so slow

My point is that that's our 'problem' area for this match. The rest of the team picks itself.

I know, mate. My point is we have one area that could be considered a 'problem area'. However we have about 5 or 6 players that can run them ragged. They have much more problem areas and areas/players to worry about.
Let them worry about stopping us.

Neil Lennon admits Odsonne Edouard Is facing a fight to be fit for Sunday’s Hampden showdown.

The French hitman sat out Sunday’s 4-1 win at Ross County as Celtic made it 10 wins on the spin and is one of several injury concerns ahead of the Betfred Cup Final.

Mohamed Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli are also struggling, along with midfielder Olivier Ntcham , was ruled out of the victory in the Highlands.

Lennon revealed he expects Jonny Hayes to be available –
with Greg Taylor cup-tied for the Rangers clash.

But the Hoops boss admitted Edouard remains a huge doubt and won’t take any chances against Hamilton on Wednesday.

Lennon said: “We’re taking it day by day. I can’t pinpoint when he’ll be back.

“So we have to soldier on without him at the minute and we’ll see how he is as the week goes on.

“Elyounoussi should be training Wednesday or Thursday so he should have a good chance of making it.

“We’re not sure on Boli yet. He might be a doubt. Jonny Hayes should be fine. I’m hoping Odsonne will be okay as well.

“You don’t want to take a chance with it. He may or may not be fit we will monitor it day by day.”

Lennon admitted he won’t need to throw Edouard back in if he’s not 100 per cent after Celtic strolled in the Highlands with Lewis Morgan up front and Christie banging in the goals.
