I think having a bit of consistency alone would have helped massively. Even Johnny Hayes I would have kept, just to have a familiar feel to the squad behind the scenes and that.

    * it all, I'd take him back without hesitation.

Don't care what he said or did, whether he knows how to work a mobile phone or not, couldn't give a *, as what he does know is how to be * giant in front of goal and that is all I want from a GK

Doesn’t want to be here. Didn’t even have the decency to return calls enquiring about his availability after the club reignited his career last season. As far as I’m concerned, he’s made his bed so let him lie in it.

That's all fine and I accept it.

Obviously we aren't going to go back for him in reality.

But I'd still take him over Barkas regardless, same as I'd take Rodgers over Lennon.

Saying that though, if in theory a new manager was brought in and sorted out the defence, maybe we'd see a different Barkas to begin with.

    Meh....

I know what you mean. But yea I think a different manager might get more out of Barkas. In the same way, a new manager might sort the defence out and that way Barkas wouldn’t be * it every time a ball went near Duffy or Ajer.
