I went for Forrest but that was something I always thought about McGeady, I'd have gave my left nut to play for Celtic and I always thought he looked miserable while he played for us

McGeady had more ability on the ball but Forrest is the better all round player. McGeady went down hill after he left us, was honking when we played Spartak. No doubt who'll have the healthier bank balance tho.

I think McGeady had more tricks, whereas Jamsey is more of a complete player.

    77 percent?! :56:

Good thing in a way so many people are on Jamesy's side now; hopefully it'll be like this the other side of Quarantine when he returns to being a frustratingly disappointing player that goes missing in top games.

Also, expect we'll be seeing some huge bids coming in from Forrest if he somehow has more talent than McGeady.

Tricks, sand dancer, no end product...people must either not have been old enough when McGeady played or have had a knock to the head. :drag:

I think McGeady was a very underrated player here. Thought he was excellent..

Forrest has developed in to a far more consistently better player though..

McGeady in his prime would be some player for us on the left of the current side in my opinion..

If we're talking natural ability, then McGeady by a distance. He never fully fulfilled his potential, though.

Whereas I feel like Forrest has become as good a player as he ever could have been. He's added more goals and assists to his game, albeit I still think he's an extremely patchy player.

    My vote is with McGeady.

Forrest is better than McGeady in his prime.

You can have all the skill in the world but means * all if you can't deliver on it.

If it were all just about skill then McCourt would have started every single game for us and been a world beater.

I see McGeady in a similar way, he was better obviously and could survive 90 minutes but at the end of the day he's end product was * and for all of his skill, would struggle to beat a man during his end here he wouldn't use any of his skill, just flap about and try knock it past he's man and lose the ball.

Forrest is a far more accomplished player who brings more to the balance of a team. Would have him every week.

Some short memories regarding McGeady on here. He was the only player worth the admission fee for spells.

Well shocked with that poll result, but I did go with Jamesy. Not that I'm saying Aidan wasnt great for us, unplayable at times.

Good to see Jamesy finally getting some love,......not sure if it's ever been mentioned before but he should maybe have a song.
