Thought there was a thread on here about this but search comes up with nothing.
I don't collect shirts, but I have maybe 40 or 50. Just picked them up on my travels, well bar the Dr Wanka one. Decided I'm going to start buying some. Just bid for this one as the players are selling them to keep the club going.
Oh and a cracking story on their home page about their history.
It will never be worth anything, I just like it as the colours mean a lot to me.
@packybhoy 25 quid ain't bad as its a nice shirt.

    * * that's some collection:56:i had about 250-300 at some point from all over the place Gremio, Palmeiras, Yokohama Marinos, Urawa Red Diamonds, 2002 Brazil world cup away kit player issue.

Loads of Celtic gear amongst it all but as I got older I got rid of a lot of it but kept the harder to get stuff

My main two shirts I’m keeping are the 125th anniversary ones, the black one is just sexual.

Have all three myself, only thing that bugs is the beautiful black one which was a present has the sponsor. All my celtic tops have no sponsor, hhmm some may do as they would have been gifts.

Anyone guess who owns the collection of shirts I put up, there's a clue in the pic.

I remember @packybhoy saying that the away shirt was down to 15 quid in the SS so had a gander and they are doing the 3 elite player issue blah blah blah shirts for 30 quid each. So ordered the two of them.
Never noticed that the player issue home shirt has 5 hoops yet the replica has 6 hoops, any particular reason for this?

I'd imagine as it's a more snug fit, there is less material.

I bought a Scotland player issue once, taking it off was like I was wrapped in clingfilm it was so tight. Or a bit like Ross in Friends with his leather pants issue.

    I sent it back :giggle1:

but the hoops go length ways so nowt to do with how slim fit it is. I know how pernicious we can be about the hoops so found it strange as to why one has one more than the other, or is it more to do with the hoops being broken and the number of hoops has always varied?

edit. Aye I think the number of hoops has always varied. Two tops stick in my mind but can’t remember the seasons. The Nike one with thin hoops gorgeous George springs to mind and the one with the collar, one Jorge cadete springs to mind.
