i dont know what the deal is with players in the futuer if every1 comes up in ever game but these have worked wonders in mine.

 

I think they are regens or players just made by the game to fill in for retiring players.

I reckon Daniel Sturridge of Man City has got to be worth a shout. He's a * tremendous striker, starts off really young as well.

 

Goalkeeper
Kasper Schmeichel (Man City) - You can buy him and get your first team GK to tutor him, it will be a great help.
Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow) - One of the bargain keepers in FM 2006, but come with a higher price tag.
Scott Carson (Liverpool) - Good GK, 21 years old. Relatively strong, but can be improved.


Defender
Micah Richards (Man City) - 18 years old Wonderkid, great header. Come with a hefty price tag. Approximately more than 12 million pounds.
Anthony Vanden Borre (Anderlecht) -19 years old defender. Great right back, used as a rotation when Carragher is used as centre-back. Can be bought at around 3 to 4 millions pounds.
Leighton Baines (Wigan) - Strong left back. Comparable to Ashley Cole as a left back.
Marcelo (Fluminese) - A good left back, capable. I bought him at 9 million pounds in the 2nd season. Recommended by many FMers.
Eduardo Ratinho (Corinthians) - Recommended by many FMers also, defence stats are not top-notch, but the attacking stats are good, capable of being an attacking defender.
Dani Alves (Sevilla) - Right Back, stats aren’t fantastic but recommended by many FMers.


Midfielder
Yohan Mollo (Monaco) - 16 years old. Future prospect. Can be bought at around 1 million pounds.
Cristian Benavente (Real Madrid C) - 16 years old. Great stats, can be improved to world-class level. He comes with a minimum release clause, however he does not want to leave as he said he cannot improve before he leaves.
Sherman Cardenas (Bucaramanga)- 17 years old. Good young midfielder with potential. Price tag: 1 million pounds.
Forward/Striker
Michael Owen (Newcastle) - 26 years old. You can buy him at the end of the first season as he is not playing regularly due to injury. Still a great scorer. Price tag: less than 10 million pounds.
Craig Lindfield (Liverpool) - 17 years old. Young and full of potential to become better. Relatively slow, but can be improved.
Theo Walcott (Arsenal)- 17 years old superb talent, full of power and speed. Sometimes you can buy him from Arsenal at around 15 millions but sometimes 50 millions. Depends on your luck.
David Villa (Valencia) - 25 years old. Come with a minimum release clause which is much lower than the expected price. Great purchase.
Javier Saviola (Barcelona) - In Barcelona second team, you can get him for less than 10 million pounds. Capable of scoring regularly.
Nicolas Millan (Colo Colo) - Extremely young and capable scorer of his age. You can sign a youth contract with him only, but as he is young, you may encounter the work permit problem.

 

Cheap players from Eastern Europe are usually good for plugging a hole.

Halmosi (left back- v good)
Nemeth (forward - ok )
Pal (striker - v good)
Vermes (right back centre back solid)
Dsudszak (left mid excellent)

Scottish
Naismith (good attacker)
Broadfoot (savage defender however has crap pace)

French
Carew ( really good and cheap)

But the country with excellent youngsters has to be belgium

Celsinhio €1.3m (bargain wonderkid 20yrs old value €7.5m)
Leandra Lima €3.9m (Wonderkid values has hit €10.25m value only 21 yrs old)
Leighterton €5m (right mid who gets a few goals)
Rodreguiz €975k (min release clause only 18 but hits a few goals)

 

Dan Sturridge - Striker

Good player, better than scott sinclair.

Sebastian Saja - Argentinian keeper. Not really young, but best keeper in the game

 

I couldnt be arsed strainnig through those long lists, but I did have a wee nosey. Heres my team I am for if I hope to ever become a force in the top tiers:

If these have been mentioned sorry, but first of all I'd like to point out that normally Freddy Adu and Cardenas are not as good as people make out. Personally I think they are excellent 'cash cows' i.e. they are good for a few seasons then Chelsea or whoever sign them for like £20mill plus.

Luizao if bought early can be as little as 3 million! Which is a steal considering he averages 8 a game! Similarly Zapata has a great great average but costs around £6mill at the start.

Finally, I really don't think Cesar Delgado has a mention yet but he is IMMENSE, possibly the best striker in the game, and can be purchased for around £3-4 million.

I really recommend you buy Zuniga and Quintana as soon as the game starts as they become absolutely amazing, * hot stats and cost around 50-100k.

 

for playing in the spl, laurence gaughn from liverpool is ok

 

vela is class in fm...
Also u can get the trio from Zagreb each at a price of cca 2 700 000€
So u get 3 quality player for 8 000 000€

 

Sherman Cardenas - age=17 value=750k

 

i have no idea if anyone mentioned him but Alejandro Alfaro was my best signing when i was playing for Ascoli. i got him on loan for the season and he helped me to get into the UCL which was one of the most impressive things i could do on Football Manager 07.. first season with Ascoli in the serie a, expected to be relegated, but i went to champo league

 

I have Alfaro, he was a great goal scorer t his old club but didnt do what i expected though he's a goodplayer

Can never get a work permit for Vela

 

Hmmm, never had a problem getting a work permit for Vela...it's normaly easy peasy.
