Cant take much from this showing , way to early to tell anything except mikey Johnston has finally arrived, touch atm is slightly better than I expected at this stage , reactions are a bit slow especially in a re jigged defence, hopefully a 3 1 win for celts here .

Terrible conditions. Both teams struggling with the slippy surface.

Mikey johnstone and Christie looking sharp.

I like three at the back but not sure you want bitton and simunovic in a back 3. That's bold to say the least

Jesus christ at least give it a full 90 mins of the new season before throwing in the towel.

Looks like we're playing hearts with a plastic Ibrahimovic up front

Ajer has played well, Simunovic looks a bit shakey.

The new boy at LB has slotted in really well

Their sitting so deep that we really need to go wide to get in behind them instead we keep pinging balls into Eddy who's touch and control haven't been up to standard majority of the half.

Great goal though a bit lucky. Forrest run from our right was nice, but a lay off to Christie would have been better than the outside of the foot effort.

Certainly got better as the half went on.

I thought Brown has been good. Obviously our best two have been Christie and Johnston; but I thought Brown has been pretty good.

Starting to look better, Eddie looking way off the pace and his touch has been woeful, Forrest marked completely out of the game so far and not tracking back as much as I would like....lastly Jozo is a useless * and even Bitton was aware enough despite not being a CB to know that no one was getting near that over the top ball.

Would like to see Jullien on for Jozo at HT and Griff for Eddie around 60-65 mins if no improvement in his performance.

Brilliant fun reading a match thread again. The highs and lows. Missed the 1st half. Sounds like Edouard is being a big lanky stream of lazy half-arsed pish as usual. So sad - had high hopes for him. Great goal from Mikey.

The pitch has cracked and looks * as expected. Although I think we can be happy with how things progressed, unlucky goal from 30 meters but it still looks like a winnable game. Musemić (the coach) is *, he was shouting how we should exploit the middle more, aiming for our target man Ahmetović instead of just kicking it out of the box.
Hopefully we can come out with a good result because I don't see us doing much abroad.

You don't have high hopes for him anymore after 45 minutes of the new season? :43:

Can’t believe there’s folk on here not pleased with that first half, away goal in dire conditions in our first game back. We’ll murder these back at Celtic park.

I think you're mixing Edouard's attitude up with Ntcham's there. He's a bit off the pace, not quite sharp; but he hasn't been half-arsed or lazy.

Would definitely like to see Griffiths get some time, whether as a direct replacement for eddy or playing 2 up top
