Add into that we’re also away to Hibs and Motherwell in the first round of fixtures and it’s fair to say that the six toughest away fixtures have all been put on our plate early.

Just terrible luck though of course. Nothing to see here.

Two stick on’s that came through yet again - Celtic away on Boxing Day (can’t ask the Hun away support to get their fat arses off the couch) and then at home either side of the 11th of November (double Poppy Day celebrations this year?)

Dunno why people complain about fixtures, got to play all these games at some point and we’ve got some really favourable home games in the first block.

Ange Postecoglou will get his first taste of the Scottish Premiership when he takes his Celtic side to Tynecastle on the opening day of the 2021/22 season.

The Hoops face Hearts in the Scottish capital on Saturday, July 31 (KO: 8pm), and the new manager will be aiming to get the campaign off to a positive start with a victory over last season’s Championship winners.

The last time Celtic kicked off their Premiership campaign at Tynecastle was in 2016, when the Hoops won 2-1 on the opening day of what proved to be a momentous season.

Following that trip to Edinburgh, Ange Postecoglou will have back-to-back games at Celtic Park – against Dundee (August 7) and St Mirren (August 21) – when it’s hoped that supporters will be back at Paradise to cheer on the Hoops.

The Hoops will end August with a trip to Ibrox for the first Glasgow derby of the season, while the first fixture in September is a home game against Ross County.

Straight in at the deep end. Needs backed by the club, get some players in and get working. Smash the diets, lay down a marker.

Apart from the opening game being at tynecastle at 8pm, it is what it is.

Huns were going to be away, we had them at home 1st last season.
We also shouldn't be fearing Glass, that Aberdeen team looked pathetic. Hearts are pretty gash too, considering their massive budget to everyone else last season they didn't half make it difficult at times. Livingston, well they went down hill after January, we should beat them.

We have to play these games at some point in the season, may as well be early on. Does look too suspect though them literally being the first 4.

Every year we get the fixtures and every year we have the conspiracy theories :56:

Baptism of fire for Ange going to the diet huns first game... Might find out a thing or two about his character going to Swinecastle first game...

Honestly who gives a * if we play Hearts first or 11th. They’re the promoted team so you could view it as an easy game. Fixture conspiracy theories can do one.
