The quality in the Premiership is far better than Bundesliga and is close to La Liga but not quite threre.

Bundesliga for the sheer competition and excitement is the berries though.

the way bundesliga is organised puts it above prem imo.

beer standing atmosphere and as you said the teams are very evenly matched some of the games are unreal.

imo, the epl is predictable and boring and very over-rated.

I like the EPL; it is incredibely overated but there is still some quality players in there.

Bundesliga should be the model all leagues are held up to but there are better players all over in the Premiership. I think that applies to La Liga as well.

100% agreed. Bundesliga is top quality, their clubs are looked after well financially too.

their fan base is bigger than any other league going. great place for football

Andy Gray is a fat f*cking disgrace who doens't know what he's talking about

Stoke and Blackburn :56: f*ck sake heard it all now

Hate the * fest over an over-rated riddled with debt soon to implode on itself bullshit league that is the English Premier League.

people assume because the tope 3-4 clubs are quality that the rest must be better as well, which just isn't the case

People get jealous of Barca loving, im not ashamed to say I'm intrigued with them. Simply because they are better than any team i'v seen in my lifetime so far.

Messi is the best player iv seen to date also. when Inter beat Barca last year with 11 men behind the ball in 2nd leg all the English on the forum were all chuffed to bits about it

saying stuff like yeah justice for football etc

justice for football!! how ironic they say that about a team defending for their life, against a team who plays the best football in the world. With a team filled with youth players through their system, absolute legend of a club

it's not the loving that's pathetic though it's the sheer jealousy. Jealous of a clubs quality and success.

That's an overstatement and I suspect you know it. Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City are all quality.

Then you have the likes of Liverpool who have two of the best players in the world in Gerrard and Torres and other quality players when they get there act together.

The likes of Bolton aren't that far behind the likes of Espanyol. There is strength in the Premier League but that is built on the back of debt; once the financial fair play laws come into play I suspect you will see a rapid drop in the quality of the EPL and a similiar decline in La Liga (although nowhere near as big IMO)

That's when Bundesliga will rule the roost.

Hopefully Celtic as well for being in a decent and fair financial position.

Anyway this thread is about Barcelona; what would everybody think Barcelona's greatest 11 ever would be? Very, very hard question.

Chelsea Arsenal, Man Utd are good, Man City still have not done anything considering the money the spent. Spurs built a good squad and are having a good year but when they become more consistent year in year out then I will put them up there with the best

    Liverpool are too inconsistent.

Celtic got all the same patter when we played English clubs, my point is that because Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have consistently been in Europe in recent years does not mean that the smaller clubs in that league should be considered better.

It's like if Celtic won the european cup next year, rangers won europa league... how the f*ck would that make Kilmarnock any stronger a team?

people just assume that because the level of top clubs in EPL is high that the rest get pushed up a level in peoples considerations of them and that's just bull. League is over-rated.

Yes, I heard this. They are hurting big time. Their game's going to fall apart very soon imo.

No it's not. Man City just now would give any team a game on therer day because of the sqaud they have. Liverpool are inconsistant at the moment but you can say the same for the likes of Inter Milan who are World Champions.

Spurs are good just now. Doesn't matter if they do it year in year out we are talking about the standard just now.

The reason the League is strong is because of the money that is spent in it; it won't be strong once the FFP laws come into play.

If Kilmarnock got the likes of money that the rest of the EPL did then yes, they would be a good team. You can't compare.

There is a lot of jealousy in Scotland surrounding the EPL and the money that they get that tends to have a skewed opinion on the League itself.

The Premiership is a very good League; it is overated by the likes of Andy Gray but that doesn't mean that it isn't a good league.

Yes they seemed a bit off the boil in the final third against Bilbao. But you can't be perfect every night and to be fair Bilbao are a decent side who defended well and have a great history and record in the Cup. It should make for an entertaining second leg for sure with it all to play for.
