Thought this wee thread could do with a revival.

Stopped wearing Nike air max a long time ago but recently seen a pair similar to these in pics just before the Huns game in Feb and thought I'd purchase them for over at the game. One of the most comfortable trainers I've worn

And seen these pair just last week and thought I'd purchase them for day after wedding in Belfast I've to attend. Was going to buy another pair of shoes for it but said * it, fir the after doo I'm going comfortable in trainers, jeans, t-shirt instead. They arrived yesterday and very comfortable they are. Had to purchase a spray thou to help them stay clean because the last pair I bought was white too and after that trip in Glasgow, as ya can guess they wherent so white when I got home. rsz_screenshot_20220827-090636.png rsz_screenshot_20220827-090617.png

I only ever buy Adidas or New Balance these days, mostly Adidas. Some of these new things that are coming out like they Yeezy things are monstrous, hundreds of pounds for that. Never paid more than 80 quid as far as I can remember for trainers. Use to buy Kustom or Globe trainers when I was in Oz, but folk know I don't skateboard back here.

I can’t post photos for some reason!

    I only wear trainers for day to day around the office if no clients are coming in;

Nike Suede (black/white swoosh white sole) blazer low
Nike all black canvas (can’t remember name)
    Nike blazer all white
Nike Air Jordan Executive (Mid-all black nubuk - no swoosh - just look like bover boots! Taken me almost three years to get them back to their glory after The Cure gig in the * mud at Bellahouston- a cracking pair of gutties!)

Vans old skool green suede/white soles
Vans Cult BMX all black suede (* love these guys, kept the box too)

I can’t go the running type trainers, like those Nike Huarache - they look like Honda Civics for your feet.

I am a sad old * who really shouldn’t be wearing trainers, suede docs and parkas!

I am fully aware of my depression and absolute refusal to let go of trying to relive 1985/1986 both in my head and in my alternative current view on reality.

Love trainers man! Same as music, trainers have neurological memories man and boy.
From the Fila and British Knights in the 90s, Jordans and Lacoste...the one constant has been Samba!! 30 years of wearing those bad boys.
Trainers, Cargos and Tatts are my escape from the corporate * world of grey and PC.

100% G man. Had the British Knights. Never wore FILA as one of my mates was big into them and didn’t want the same as him in the early 90s. Have a nice pair of Jordan 3’s still and boxed like new. Can’t beat the samba or Gazelle.

Q12526DSC_1213.jpeg 11782900xlalt1.jpg Nike-Air-Max-90-Black-Racer-Pink-DB3915-003-Release-Date-4.jpg nike-air-presto-naija-pine-green-green-strike-black-white-cj1229-300-2.jpg bought all of these in various stages of lockdown, bottom 2 pairs are a bit tight so hardly ever wear them. Top 2 pairs are a bit chunky and moon boot like but are really comfy, Jordans especially have grown on me lately.
Have got others I've had for ages like converse, vans old school and air force 1s but everyone pretty much has them and don't need pictures!
