    Taking Celtic out the equation, what was your favourite footballing era ?

    I will go with the 90's. Watching Football Italia every Sunday on ch4. Also the amount of big names that played in the league at that time.

    Very tough choice,i think the way i have chosen,is if i could watch all the highlights of the decade,then i would go for the 70s.This decade was long long before Money started to ruin the game.Some Great World Cups,great European Club Football.Amazing Characters around,* i would even enjoy watching the English Top flight.

    I find the early days of football really interesting.... if there was a football time machine I’d go back and see what it was like at some of those massive crowd games where everyone had on a bunnet.

    Maybe the 1908/09 cup final would be interesting! Bonkers times.

    Id put a few quid on the 67 big cup win while back there.

    Certainly was,and true loyalty in football was still common.I was a wee lad during the 78 World Cup,remember watching the final with my late Dad.And of course i remember that certain ultra Famous win in the Group Stages we had,i remember shouting "Can we still get through Dad?" At least i think i said that:biggrin:

    Still to this day love all the Italian football team kits. Parma, Inter, AC, Bologna, Fiorentina, Roma, Sampdoria. All belters.
