Wasn't old enough to see Senna, idolised Schumacher but even though I'm not his biggest fan personally, Hamilton is the best driver I've ever seen. He's better than MS. Alonso has to be in the discussion when you're talking about the best drivers ever as well. The fact he's only won 2 championships is an absolute travesty.

The FIA's become a farce!

Red Bull massively over the Budget last couple years and * all getting done.. Other teams having to pay of 30 - 40 employees to stay within.

Also Ferrari really had a chance to step up this year, some horrible decision making throughout.

 

Bit dodgy all of this to be honest. From an outsider point of view, between the way the season finished last year and now this, the sport is looking pretty bad.

 

Max not letting Perez by was * poor! Literally helped Max out all last season... Not buying the Perez meant to crash in Monoco pish either, no credible source on that.

I think we're going to start seeing a different side to Checo from now on in.

There is data that shows Perez went on the throttle far too early on turn 8 in Monaco, which everyone knows would have lost him the rear, which is what happened.

I much prefer Lewis Hamilton and can’t stand Verstappen but I think there is some dodgy data that shows it was pretty much deliberate. You just can’t prove it. “Driver Error” and all that.

Either way, Verstappen is a 2 time world champion because of Sergio Perez. No doubt about it. The absolute cringiest of radio message over to his team made him look like an even bigger * than he already is. Hope Mercedes, Hamilton and Russell kick on next year and wipe the floor with the *. Ferrari will never be good enough until they sack their technical teams.

 

Verstappen is a bawbag

 

Hate to say it but looks like Red Bull and Verstappen are going to breeze this title again. Early in the season, of course but there seems an arrogance about Red Bull at the minute.

 

There’s always an arrogance about them. It’ll be fantastic when they eventually get beat.

 

Yeah. I hope Ferrari or Merc can pull them in.

 

I was kinda the same. I’ve always respected him as a driver. Unbelievable driver. I’m of the era that never saw Senna but saw Schumacher and I think he’s a better driver than Michael. He’s toned himself down significantly over the years, especially since he finished with the * cat doll. Seems more focused on F1 and fighting for equal rights, which I approve of.

Red bull will win the championship again verstappen and the team manufacturing championship. I am old enough to remember ayrton senna . James hunt nikki lauda. Of course times have moved on technically and with the new electronics in the cars . I saw max verstappen in formula 2 or 3 many years ago and said this guy would be world champion one day. He showed just a fear of nothing when driving and still does to this day. He isn't the most likeable of chaps I agree but to be able to drive like that is bliss. Alonso although older and wiser just doesn't have the car under him to do anything against red bull.. but if he was in a red bull he would destroy the field. I have watched formula 1 and 2 for many years and wondered why it wasn't more.popular
