Just having a look at this seasons champions league 32 teams make the group stages of those 32 teams 28 of them did not have to play any qualifier meaning that 53 teams were competing for 4 positions.

Uefa is made up of 55 associations 15 of those associations were represented in the group stage.


Lets not kid on this is some kind of victory for football this still makes the richest richer and keeps the big boys happy

This is another reason why the long-term goal must be for us to collectively own 51%+ of Celtic PLC. Make no mistake that if we were offered the opportunity to be involved in this or the EPL, the board would jump at it, irrespective of what we thought.

Many German Clubs are majority fan-owned for this reason.
