    Last 16 would make me happy. As would a 3rd place finish.

    Worried we won’t reach the group stages though. Not going to analyse permutations and opponents etc, the sheer amount of games gives me the fear.

    They are not phenomenal but rub of the green and they can pull a result out like last year knocking out ajax we should always respect every opponent doesn't mean we should lie back.... but prepare for the task well

    its gonna be a monumental task to qualify

    if we are getting the likes of rosenberg in the 2 qualifier who the * are we getting in the 3rd and final qualifier its got to be the likes of teams from portugal, russia for 3rd qualifier and then teams from the big 4 for the final qualifier

    extremely hard, gonna need to be at our absolute best to qualify

    They were a yard fitter in the first game last season and could have easily turned us over at CP..

    No we can't because we are in the champions route, it is possible but unlikely Rosenberg will be the hardest team we get Actually astounds that folk still don't know how the qualifying system works :56:

    We were plagued with injuries and had a stadium ban in place for the green brigade. They are also worse than last season.

    What relevance does the Green Brigade being banned have to the performance of our team?

    We’ll be playing Rosenberg and we won’t be at 100%, it’ll be tough as will the following tie. In fact the one before that even has the potential for a scare proven in Gibraltar.

    Are they, good...that's true we didn't have a fit striker...still be tough tho, hate playing teams who are well into their seasons..

    I'll be over the moon if we just qualify for the CL, anything after that is a bonus.

    There's a reason our money men set out our budget on the idea that we'll only qualify 2-3 out of 5, we can't and shouldn't count on it.

    This year the 11 highest ranked countries in europe have their champions auto-qualify for group stages.

    All the other champions have to battle out for 4 further places via qualifiers.

    Due to us being one of the seeded teams we avoid some of the stronger teams in this section such as PSV

    15 non-champions qualify from high ranked leagues, with 2 more high ranked non champions qualifying from a different section than us.

    We were in this section when we got beat by arsenal and braga, due to finishing runners up to rangers.

    some of that might be slightly off but hopefully makes it clearer :celt_2:

    However qualifying is the first achievement as always. We need to freshen the squad so hopefully see some movement in the coming weeks and months.
