Dunno why Lukaku's face is tripping him. He's just scored the winning goal in the Europa League final.

Well Sevilla are just * mental in the Europa League. Great final though the second half never matched the first. Can't beat the sport of football.

Navas has been brilliant the last couple of games. Think he's a better full back than winger.

    Sevilla’s mentality is just insane.

Monchi’s record there is * mental considering they’re not one of the elite clubs.

Inter were * awful that second half. Maybe exhaustion but the lack of urgency was shocking. If you’re tired go route 1 ffs..

What does it even mean though? Regardless of the second half performance, Sevilla should have been down to ten men from very early on. Such an easy decision: a last man professional foul. How can he get that wrong? Arguably Inter might have had a penalty too. I've definitely seen them given.

Honestly makes me feel sick (and I wanted Sevilla to win as I have a soft spot for Spain in general and Andalusia in particular and I have no love for Inter).

I don't understand how people can just shrug that off. What do the rules even mean anymore?

Didn't see the game mate. However you must be wrong I have read on here loads of times we have to put up with all the negative aspects of VAR as they will now get the big decisions right. Otherwise it would seem they are just further ruining the game for supporters for no actual benefit.

It's not a VAR thing, mate. The referee correctly gave the foul and the penalty. The inexplicable thing was that he only gave the defender a yellow. He was the last man and it was a professional foul. The only explanation I can think of is that it was so early in the game and he didn't want to spoil the spectacle or something.

If this were Celtic, every one of us would be raging about that decision.

Edit: I just woke up and am drinking my first coffee of the day and my brain only just loaded the irony detection app. Yes, your point about VAR is probably right.

Ref had a mare. If that penalty incident had happened in the 80th minute it would have been a sending off.

Didn't think it was a sending off, I even think the actual foot that caught him was an accident, he was pulling and shoving outside the box, but his foot caught Lukaku, and tbh he was at the edge of the box too, needed to catch the ball and then cut in.

    Correct for me.
