What a player this boy is! Now that Ronaldo and Messi are getting on are Haaland and Mbappe the two new best players in European football?

He is supposedly talking to Barca and Real! Maybe even some English clubs but not sure if that is true?

Not yet, even still neither of them are as complete as Messi. In my opinion anyway. Both amazing though

Doubt they’ll ever be as good as Messi. But currently they are surely better would you not say?

Haaland and Mbappe are nowhere near Messi (today’s Messi) in my opinion.

Thats what I mean. I dont think they currently are. Yes they're quicker and arguably score more. But Messi is also a world class playmaker.

They're the next generation of superstars though, undoubtedly

Haaland and Mbappe will never get near the level of ronaldo or messi but they are definitely primed to be the two highest profile players of the next decade which is why they’ll both be in la liga next season.

With Aguero gone I fancy Haaland to go to City.

He's 20 years old and already people are naming in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo. That says a lot.

    Football needs new superstars.

I mean like if you had to pick one to join your team today would it not be Haaland or Mbappe over Messi?

I think Messi leaves Barca which leaves a void for them to fill with haaland and Madrid have been preparing to sign mbappe for 18 months. La liga need the star power aswell so they’ll do everything they can to accommodate both signings

Between Haaland and Mbappe, I would go for the former. Can only imagine his price tag already.

He’s a prototype machine, just wish his agent wasn’t who he is.

I can’t see Barca being able to afford him but if they are genuinely interested then it’s a huge sign of intent for Messi.

They defo are the new world stars but neither are in the class Ronaldo and Messi are.
If they produce the goods season after season til their mid thirties then there is an argument whether they deserve the accolade as one of the best ever, but at the moment, I don’t see it.
Some of the things we have seen Messi and Ronaldo do over the years has been staggering. Seen it from Mbappe and Haaland in flashes but not consistently.
I think Haaland is better than Mbappe IMO. Also like his attitude and interviews. Seems a good laugh and down to earth. Other than blistering pace,I feel Mbappe doesn’t offer as much.

Purely because of age but if it was on a years loan? Messi, easily.

Can Bayern no afford Haaland? Lewandowski is still firing them in like * the now but he’s nearly 33. Seems like it would be a good fit especially when he knows the league and the country anyway.
