    What bugs me is apparently he is looking to leave. Boyata rightfully so earned his place last season and now Erik won't show the same fight just wants to go. Punt.

    Guy was a standout under Deila when the rest of the team was poor. Problem is everyone else around him has stepped it up big time and he hasn't....time to go imo

    Good point, but I remember people saying similar things about McGregor half way through last season but he stepped it up another gear again.
    Would like to think Erik could do the same but if it's true that he's asking to leave then let him go.
    If he's not willing to fight for his place ON the team, you can't trust him to fight FOR the team if he does play.

    Sviatchenko and Simunovic seemed like it would be an awesome partnership for us - especially after how well Sviatchenko started his Celtic career.

    Pretty disappointed it hasn't worked out, but we move on.

    I didn't rate him, so not bothered about him leaving. I thought he got caught under the ball too often and was clumsy around the box.

    I've never seen a dislike for a player come out of absolutely nowhere like this haha, what the actual * has he done wrong? He may not be as good a player as first thought and hoped, but what the * caused the sudden surge of hatred from many quarters?
