    This is close to happening apparently.

    Can't see Copenhagen spending more than £3 million though

    We'd have got about £6 million if we sold him to the EPL

    We must be about to sign a CB then. Hopefully a first team player to take over/challenge Boyata.

    We could probably do with two CBs actually

    A new signing that's an upgrade on Boyata and I'd be happy to tbh, want to see how the Ajer/KT partnership develops and Ajer's development in general.. Bitton can play there too now..

    I'd be looking for more than 3m euro tbh.

    Kobenhavn are obviously in a * position, needing a CB pretty badly. Take the * for every penny they can possibly give.

    £4m-5m I'd want.

    They got £2-3m for Jorgensen going to Huddersfield plus if they qualify for the UCL.

    If they can't pay it then tough...I'd rather wait for an English/German side to take a punt which I believe they would.

    I like him too, think with him, Simunovic, Boyata, new CB and Ajer we'd be set for a while. However he clearly isn't content to play second choice.

    At the same time though, he hasn't really came out fighting. He played really well in the 1st half of last season, IMO. Him and Jozo formed a good partnership.

    Weird one. Definite confidence player.

    If we sell him, get a bit of money in and buy another CB, I'd be quite content with a 4 of:

    Simunovic
    Boyata
    New guy
    Ajer

    for now.

    Its obvious Brendan does not fancy him. He will be gone sooner or later. It will be a fee in the region of 2.5 million with add ons, for a team abroad. 6m plus for a team down south.

    Honestly would take £3m for him. He's turned into a bombscare and his constant fouling anytime a team plays a ball into their striker is infuriating.

    We're not in a position to sell and definetly not at 4 million. * sake they'll be getting 30 million aswell. OUR most experienced CB for 4 million in this market.
    Not a chance till another CB comes in.

    I can't find the Danish article mate, but I remember a few on here basically saying he needs to knuckle down and try and win his place back. The game that sticks out for me was against Partick Thistle at home he was * horrendous.

    I mean *, we already need another CB in right now. With him gone we lose more cover there. I only see this if we are getting a quality CB in.

    We are playing a very dangerous game with our transfer business, even more so than in recent years imo.

    COPENHAGEN IN TALKS WITH CELTIC OVER SVIATCHENKO SALE

    Celtic are preparing to offload Erik Sviatchenko to Copenhagen and sign a new centre half as Brendan Rodgers looks to solve his defensive dilemma.

    According to Danish outlet BT, Copenhagen manager Stale Solbakken has been speaking to Celtic regularly this week regarding Sviatchenko’s availability.

    Celtic are willing to sell and will sign a new centre half to partner Jozo Simunovic, but the two sides have yet to reach an agreement over the sale of the 25-year-old, with Celtic looking more than the offered €3 million from the Danish side.
