Always liked Erik looked captain material under Ronny but just wasn't what Brendan wanted in a CB, I wish him well for the future :shamrock:

good on him for thanking rodgers, takes balls to thank a man that dropped him out the team. He seemed like a genuine guy but will take 1m any day for a player having 5/10 performances against part timers

    Liked the big man.

Think his comments may have been taken a bit out of context and a lot of * just wanted to slate him for it. Seems like a confident guy which is fair enough.

    Good luck to him.

We are going to regret that the minute Boyata * up again, which should be 20 minutes into the next competitive match.

At least might mean a CB good enough for Celtic coming to partner with Ajer, as there is yet another million available to the transfer budget and more space in the squad

Boyata is several levels above Sviatchenko for me. In that situation I’d be raging that we didn’t replace Boyata.

Sviatchenko is nowhere near good enough.

Wish him all the best, shame really, looked cool and collected when he first came in.

It's a tad frustrating that our cb's can't seem to maintain a level of form for longer than a single season.

Hopefully Ajer bucks that trend and we finally get a settled back line with him and Jozo or Boyata.

    The constant injuries haven't helped.

This forum specialises in taking comments out of context. We slate the tabloids on a regular basis for publishing nonsense but then when they publish a quote thats quite obviously been taken out of context people's immediate reaction is "* him. *."

Looking now another woeful defensive blunder by the manager.

Hendry is basically a regular and there's rumoured to be some German stoating about the corridors of Lennoxtown.

No way has BR gave him a fair crack.

Outside's nice, hideous on the inside even if it is the Lions shouldn't have a lime green background.

Why not? He was easily the defender that showed most consistency out of the whole lot. Erik was the only one to show he had the ability to be actually quite good. Not one of the others has shown any degree of ability or potential.

He was our best centre back.

We got rid of him and replaced him with Jack Hendry.

It is amazing how absence alters reality, he had went the exact same way Jozo has in recent weeks.

Not good enough, Rodgers found him out early.

Absence alters reality indeed. People have an opinion that he has never been good enough based on the 6 months he havent played at all before leaving Celtic, due to Rodgers boycotting him.

"Rodgers found him" Rodgers think Hendry is a footballer and Boyata is "top class".

The fact is Sviatchenko was one the most present players in the unbeaten run, rescued our defence from catastrophe under Deila, and cares about the club unlike Rodgers' love, Boyata. Meanwhile we have a win rate of like 10% when Hendry is on the pitch.
