aye ave heard of this and we have been here before a few years ago

the championship will be uprated to epl2 with us in it.

it might become tempting for the board as there probably would be more money in it for us

ps

then again any increased revenue from tv money for epl2 would have to be weeighed up by the fact we wouldn't be getting champions league money

I would bite your hand off for any opportunity for a path to the riches down South. Our club would explode in terms of quality, especially as we'd be starting from a point of no debt whatsoever.

Think is money talks, and the prospect of us and the scum joining the top EPL is a money mans dream. The TV companies would market this big time.

So never say never

Any chance of us getting into the EPL and i'd bite the hand off.

Even if it meant us starting in league 2-short term pain=long term gain.

Will it happen though? I doubt it, still we can hope and prey :50:

well im an optimist( spelling) i still think we need to get the sfa with the baws and get a full re-vamp of our game! doing this will help attract bigger investers as hopefully the new set up will be more exciteing? i would prefer us doing this than going down and playing in that league tbh. fix ours 1st! and if still pish then talk about going down there.

Hammer, that sounded like you would accept a place in the championship ?

would we not be banned from future european competitions forever ?

i also can't see the english clubs being happy about it ?

what about the issue of trouble aswell thats the reason the england v scotland fixtures were scrapped.

But i would say it's more likely now than it was a 5-10 years ago to be offered a place in the championship, no chance of getting a place in the EPL straight away

It would be good for me because i'd get to goto Celtic away games easily, but we'd lose our Scottish identity.

But every season we seem to slip away from the big team club house.

2003 we were feared in Europe, 2009 no one fears facing our squad.

As hammer said with no dept IF we finished last in the epl you get something like 35 million....all could be spent on players....every * pound of it.
I dont see it coming off to be honest,I think they might doi a british cup instead.....not like anyone in scotland would have a chance of winning it.
