And he constantly hits out with "well they went down the route of world class managers before and it never worked", talking about Van Gaal and Mourinho. Van Gaal, who had won 4 trophies in the 21st century, one being a glorified friendly. He's a guy who was way past his best. Mourinho the same. A manager on a downward trajectory and has done nothing since he left United.

Neville goes on as if they're two of the best current managers around. It's mental that other pundits never call him out on it.

Funnily enough though, those two did better than Solskjaer, with much weaker teams.
