    Is it a good gesture if it’s just to * off someone else?

    A bit like people who only video themselves on Instagram giving someone homeless a meal.

    If it was about the act then they would just do it and go about their day. If Ozil really wanted to help because he thought it was the right thing to do he’d have went to the club and offered it, not tweeted it.

    You've answered it yourself. Why would a wage cut worth a few million save any jobs when they had the money to * £40-50m per player. I wouldnt take a cut either. * them. Well done for trying to save another man's job personally. Not with the hope a wage cut saves any.

    Very disappointed with Palace there. I quite like them usually but they were absolute shitebags there. Throughout the game they were timewasting and kicking the ball away getting involved in little niggles and stuff. It seemed to be every single player as well so must come from the manager who has this reputation of being a "nice guy" but that was poor imo.
