Aye were saying last season “ wait till frank gets his own players in “, Tbf watched Werner in the bundesliga and boy havertz aswell both looked really good players, boy havertz totally ran the show v the Huns in Europa league but they have been absolutely dreadful at Chelsea

Think I've said before on here, but Werner is one of those players who I've never been impressed by when I've watched him play. His goal return was great for Leipzig, but any time I saw him he looked pretty ordinary.

Still think a good manager will get much more out of him, but I'm not sure he's a proper elite striker.

Each to their own with opinions but actually thought the guy was a terrific striker with Leipzig, his goals to game ratio was around a goal every 1and half matches , scored all types of goal s also thought he was always very hard working and his link up play and assists were also quite impressive, I’ve never liked Chelsea as a club but I genuinely thought he would have made a massive difference to them this season , agree think a better manager would get more from him but he’s been very poor in any Chelsea games I’ve watched

Maybe this is the board's plan. Would explain why they've been so quiet and maybe explains why Liverpool have been *. Something's being thrashed out and Klopps head not in it anymore.

That was a surprise they were bound to get best at home eventually just don't think many people would have backed Burnley to be the team that did it

Liverpool possibly loosing their crown, Juventus more than likely to loose theirs and Real trailing currently Athletico in La Liga so, it's no just us. Doesn't help though

Klopp can count himself lucky that he’s not a catholic from the North of Ireland. Otherwise they’d be calling for him to be sacked

Be interesting to see how much he plays. Smith-Rowe has been really impressive

    Chelski sack Frank Lampard

In a statement, Chelsea said: "This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and the board have taken lightly.

"We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as head coach of the club. However, recent results and performances have not met the club's expectations, leaving the club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement.

"There can never be a good time to part ways with a club legend such as Frank, but after lengthy deliberation and consideration it was decided a change is needed now to give the club time to improve performances and results this season."

And that's how you deal with an underperforming club legend..

Not working for him and protecting everything he had done in the past before it's too late..
