Even with celebrations it’s killing the game. Legitimate goals getting looked at for minutes while the crowd are clueless.

It ruining in play betting as well ...

I put a bet on in the Norwich v spurs game a few days ago just after it had gone 0-1 ... there was a second goal credited while I placed. The bet was accepted though and stood but the goal was chalked off by var a minute later ... it didn’t affect the outcome or my bet (which I’d have still won) but they then ‘voided’ it because of the var decision.

Happened in a couple of CL games as well.

Seems everyone and their gran is a glory hunting Liverpool supporter this season (and tail end of last) and their arrogance is * annoying.

It's funny as you say, they need to paint this league as being the most competitive, and slag us for a one horse race. But I want someone to put the liverpool fans in their place - sadly seems a bit too big a gap the now for even a City revival.

 

City have dropped far too many points they should have won. Liverpool are just mechanical just now, grinding the results out. No chance anybody catches them now, they’ve got that winning mentality we had about us in the invincible season.

 

After that Pukki goal the other night the atmosphere audibly just died. When they scored their second goal it was completely muted celebrations as if they were just waiting for it to go against them.

I just see it commercially as becoming more like American football Packy. Where they try and pack as many adverts into a "game" as possible. It's probably inevitable the more the game or the big games gets further and further away from being interested in the folk actually attending the games and more towards big business.

What's the point in just having pictures of a ref listening to what's in his ear when you could have ads rolling along the bottom of the screen ? VAR sponsored by Ray Winstone or 'arry's Rolly Polly's?
