Going to miss him, great servant and saved us money over the years by making that position his own which allowed us to spent more on other areas of the pitch.
Im sure he helped KT to become the player that he is into the bargain.

Need another back up left back pronto.
Injury to KT and we have Hayes or Miller left back, either of which fills me with dread.

What a great player for us. Cannot fathom the negativity on here.

Prior to Izzy we couldn't buy a half decent LB for love nor money.

Izzy has been a fantastic player for us over the years. All the best to him. * bless x

Gutted to see him go. Was hoping that he would stay here until he hit the 10 year milestone. Been a great servant and never moaned that he lost his place to a youngster in Tierney. If the £1.25 million figure is true that is good business for a back up who only just signed a 1 year extension.

All the best Izzy, hope to see you back at Paradise cheering on the hoops :notworthy:ynwacelti

Wow £1.25m is a decent fee considering he's not been a regular for over a year. Will miss him though, was such a random signing at the time but he was a beast in his first season.

    Good luck Emilio!

He's going to be living in Al Majma'ah, a town in the middle of nowhere where few if any will know a language other than Arabic. Emilio is very religious and there won't be any Christian churches nearby deep in sharia territory. Don't fancy it myself but if the money is crazy and he's playing then it's understandable.

The town isn't that far from Riyadh and I don't think it'll be much of a problem for him tbh, a lot of Argentinians, Brazilians and other South Americans play over there and it obviously doesn't bother them. Like you said he'll most likely be earning big bucks as well.

Ajer was never a CB either.

These couple of games comprise 100% of his professional competitive games.

im sure if any of that would have been an issue then he wouldn't have went, considering he said he'd like to see out his contract only a couple months back i doubt hes made a rash decision and thought this through

You are stretching here, Ajer was loaned out to get experience at CB, where as Miller has played one league game at LB and covered in maybe a couple of friendlies.

Best of Luck to Izzy, that fee covers the amount for Johnny Hayes, so going by the logic and paper talk (meh) our only outlay is Ntcham at £4.5m lots of pennies in the pot left me thinks, wage bill also down again!

Am I right in thinking he's our longest serving current player after Brown? Not including guys that have been here in the youth academy since they were 12 or something.

For an outsider coming in that's some stint.
