    Forster

    Lustig Wilson Ambrose Mulgrew

    Forrest Brown Ledley Samaras

    Commons

    Stokes

I wouldn't start Derk for this one, as the artificial surface may just make him worse, if he is indeed carrying a niggling injury from today into the match on Wednesday.

    I'm saying 2-1 to our Bhoys :50:

Elfsborg - pronounced ElfsBORG, not ElfsBERG - played so dirtily in the last match we better be prepared for it in the return leg.

Where is this stat on Elfsborg seriously coming from?!

Seen it a few times on here now, no doubt some Twitter made up *.

They lost last month at home in the league for a start.

AIK beat them today (away). Elfsborg are a attacking side at home who ever they play, so we will get many chances if we play good at the back.

Oopsie, I read it on BBC.

But then again, it's the BBC...

I think we will be quite comfortable in this one. Elfsborg need to come at us and we will destroy them with our pace on the break.

Imperative that Wilson is fit so that Ambrose can become a judge.

How are Elfsborg generally viewed in Sweden? Are they seen as scumbags? Because they collapsed in my estimation after that last match. They were terrible.

A goal for us will almost definitely win the game. And I just can't see us not scoring. I predict 1-0 to the good guys.

Elfsborg has a great reputation here for being a friendly club with friendly fans. They have a rough period right now and we should beat them :50:

That was what I thought. Haven't read the Swedish media but what was their reaction to the way Elfsborg played against us? I thought they were very cynical, dirty players.

    Forster
    Lustig Wilson Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Ledley
    Forrest Commons Boerrigter
    Sammy

If Boerrigter isn't fit enough, switch him with Sammy and put Stokes as the lone striker. Think we will win 2-0, they'll attack and we could rip them apart on the counter attack.

Surely you can't drop Stokes after his performance today?

Hope you're right man. Our problem is that we dont look like scoring too many ourselves atm. First goal will be vital. If we get it their heads will drop. If they do, they may go into their shell again a la Glasgow.

They didn't look up to much, but the difference between our own home and away performances used to be night and day. They may be a decent side at home.

Still, they'll have to open up and I'm confident we'll score

We only need to score one mate, I'm confident we will do just that.

Our away performances under Lennon have been mostly excellent in the last three seasons.

I actually no longer fear European away games as much as I used to under Strachan and, even worse, under Mowbray.
