Dylan McGeouch

Very surprised we've given McGeouch another year. We must actually be interested in Allan.

 

From the games I watched last season McGeouch was the better all round player, Allan more creative though, but sloppy at times.. McGeouch hardly wasted a pass.

 

Scott Allan will not be at celtic and isn't any better than what we have at the team and that's including players who can't get a game so would be waste of money and daddybear told you pal !!!

 

Couldnt disagree more - watched hibs half a dozen times last season and Allan was comfortaby the best player on the pitch .

 

Looking at the Hibs forums last season the opinion from their fans generally seemed to be that McGeouch was their teams best player when he was fit.

 

malonga was probably the better 'quality' player out of all of them though tbh

 

My mate from uni is a big Hibs man and he says mcgeouch was easily one of their best players last season. He says that he done the dirty work and really stood out.. He's dying for them to sign mcgeouch lol

 

I'd like to see how McGeouch is going to turn out for us. It'd be nice if he can really stand out and be a quality player for us as it means we wont have to buy anyone but at the same time, we all know roughly what he's capable of.

But then again, he's still relatively young so he has plenty of time to shine.

I don't think he'll make anything for than a squad player if he stays. That's not to say he isn't a good player he's just had far too many years wasted with no development through a lack of game time.

He's 22 now and has played 1 full season in a lower Scottish league. He won't hit the heights he looked he was destined for. Would be aswell letting him go and salvage some sort of quality career.

 

Always thought he was pish. Not good enough for us.

He might never be more than a squad player here - but so * what? Better a homegrown back-up player than signing some random * player from the Czech Republic for £1 million.

I think he deserves a chance under Ronny for a year, see if he can make it in Ronny's system.

 

McGeouch has regressed I think with Hibs, and that is one of the reasons I don't particularly like loaning out players, they very often go backwards in their careers due to a lack of self esteem at getting loaned out, it makes them feel that they are somehow not good enough for their own club.

I also think McGeouch is going the same way McGeady went, one trick pony with a wee shimmy and that's all. No way is McGeouch as good as Scott Allan.
