Fantastic so far today. Always found it weird how much people slagged him off. He wasn't great in those few games for us, but he was nowhere near as bad as some people liked to think.

He was Forest's POTY before signing for us. He's obviously a decent 'keeper.

He saved a penalty something Gordon never looks like doing

Wasn't it because he had 9 shots on target and 9 goals during his short spell :56: his start was terrible.

Doesn't mean every goal was a clanger on his part.

There were, and still are, people on here who think he's incapable of making a save.

It was absolutely pathetic, some of the shots he let in.

Will probably never fully trust him in goals after that. But if he can perform like he did today, I would not be against giving him another wee run in the team, if Gordons form drops.

Didn't see his performance today but sounds good.

Truth be told I still have my doubts about Gordon and would be delighted to see him take number one spot if it's on merit

Well done big man, great performance.

As much as I'd love us to sign a young up and coming goalkeeper to eventually take the gloves off Gordon, after seeing that performance today I feel a lot more confident in him as a back up.

His kicking was phenomenal today as well. Was obviously thought that one of the main reasons he was brought in was due to his distribution and we never quite saw it from him last season.

He could've shot the wings off a fly today, he was dropping pinpoint passes in deep the whole game, great stuff.

Aye, first time I've realised why Rodgers mentioned his kicking being better than most outfield players.

He played very well today, but I still have my doubts about him. Just about every pass he received he took a touch to his right before playing it, rather than playing it first time, or mixing it up. It makes him predictable and that's the type of thing oppnents pick up on very quickly, and could prove costly.

His saves were excellent though, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm not as nervous as I was about having him as backup now.

On that form id have absolutely no worries about him should he play for Celtic in a competitive match if Gordon was to get injured.

He'll be our No.1 GK by our first CL Group Stage game, mark my words.

No harm to Gordon who was excellent on Wednesday night and kept us in the tie, but it won't be long I suspect before he reverts back to his clumsy ways letting in goals that he shouldn't be conceding and making all the wrong decisions (See his Scotland performance v England as an example). If Gordon was in goals today he would never have kept a clean sheet, I'm 99.9% sure of that.

And when Gordon does drop form DDV will be there to step in and make the spot his own. Some of those saves Dorus made today took me back to Boruc/Forster like performances friendly or not those shots need to be saved.

Any mistake Gordon makes now will be jumped on to put this eejit back in goals. Thank * he had a MOTM performance on Wednesday.

All well and good doing it in friendlies. But this isn't the time to even think about giving him a proper game.
