Donner Kebab Meat Appreciation Thread

With all the * * going on right now let’s discuss a simple topic. The beautiful, timeless, delicious..donner meat. Has to be chili and salad sauce for me

 

Chilli and garlic for me. Depends on what mood I'm in for either chips, pita or nan.

 

Chips meat and salad and dark red chilli sauce no that other pink creamy guff.

Like a mixed kebab tae .

 

Tastes better from areas that have a Labour council in my opinion.

 

Donner kebab meat is disgusting, man. Cheap, salty & tangy — boke! I’ll take a chicken tikka kebab over it anytime.

 

A kitchen I worked in the Donner meat was bought in frozen, in buckets. From Colbeck I think. Tasted no bad thobto be fair

 

Best one I’ve had was in Sami’s Kebabs in Santa ponsa, may be the booze that made it taste so good right enough

Definitely one of those Greek style kebabs which is stuffed with either chicken or pork meat and chips for me. The Greeks call them gyros which reminds me of being on the Broo

 

The chilli sauce that is provided in Scottish kebab places is, overwhelmingly, utter *.

 

All donner kebab meat is OFF

 

Micro kebabs. Those are the boys. Filled with 1% meat aswel. Your no wanting that 4% stuff.

Got to be chilli sauce. Pitta bread and sauce separate so you can put it together yourself.

For some bizarre reason, Indians absolutely massacre a pitta bread. Weird.

 

Only someone used to getting filled with lots of meat would champion less meat.

 

That must be what gives it its flavour.

Canny beat a donner roll with loads of sauce

 

I like donner meat but was often kind of sceptical that it was "mystery meat" with all sorts probably in it. Watched a programme on the TV last week though and it actually showed you how it was all made (lamb chunks minced and mixed with garlic, herbs and spices then frozen). Not as concerned about the process now.
