I'm not really surprised, that even though we have got a little
winning run going, that some people are only looking for negatives
in the team, coaching staff & club.

I think we are headed in the right direction with Ronny at the helm.

I think the policy of try before you buy is good in the main, &
when the loan is up, if the player has been a success then we buy him.

I think he's trying the old we will score more than the opposition
so defending is secondary to attacking.(A bit like we used to be:icon_mrgreen:) & entertain the fans by playing & pressing
    further up the pitch.

He is apparently trying to get the players to treat their training, diet
etc. in a professional manner, which I agree with.

I noticed a few of the players with a smile on their faces the other
night (especially Izzy again)which is good as I think you need to enjoy
    what you are doing.

I enjoyed the game the other night more than any for a couple of years
even though it was in the balance & we were under a fair
amount of pressure until the final whistle.

Do you think we are heading in the right or wrong direction or
    are we rudderless?

Must admit was expecting the opening post to be negative...

Fair play to you mate it's good to see some positivity around the forum and around Deila...

It's taking a bit of time but we seem to be getting there!!

    I'm positive for the season..:shamrock:

In terms of the club as a whole I don't believe we are, but I voted yes as the question was mainly about the manager, coaching staff, and players. So in that respect I believe we are moving in the right direction.

If we let the new coaching staff and new players settle I reckon we'll be much stronger this time next season.

I do, it will take some time and some bad results before we get to where I believe Ronny can take us but I think if we keep faith in him it will be worth it

As he said the way wee played under Lennon we succeceded in the league easily but not in Europe we couldn't play the way we wanted to, tried and failed last season as we saw. He knows for us to evolve on the pitch means higher fitness levels, in the champions league last season we were unlucky in a few matches and played good football but couldn't keep it up for 90 minutes, we couldn't even keep up the pace and tempo domestically just a 20 minutes or less burst here and there to win the game.

A few weeks ago I´d have voted "yes", now I don´t know anymore. There should be an "unsure" option in the poll.

I would like to see some consistency as you are never sure what we are going to get from game to game .
Also worried about the lack of support for the striker .

A good wee winning run after a bad start is progress so a lot of positives that way I am not sure about Delia I understand he has his ideas and one being an attacking philosophy

But I can't see no difference to lennons or even strachan teams at this point

Maybe I am blind or the players up front will not work with his method

To be honest the jury's still out for me

I think we are..... but we need to remember that all these changes take time for the players to get used too

    Definitely.

7 games unbeaten now, the ship is steadying. Now we just need to improve the performances.

Loaning players with an option to buy is a good idea, and the developing relationship with Manchester City is a great move.

If the players work as hard as they can and stick to Ronny's 'rules' - i.e. improve their diet and fitness - then we are on to a winner.

Guidetti looks fantastic so far, the striker we've been needing for a while. Wakaso is very promising and of course Denayer is proving to be a great loan deal.

First off,I never heard NFL give anything other than praise when speaking of former managers,Ronny should take a leaf from that book and shut the * up.
Secondly, since Ronny has arrived he has blamed everyone bar the tea lady for bad results.
Thirdly,I will give Ronny credit for his tactics, for so far this season, other than the DU game, they have made very average SPFL teams look good which has made for good viewing,if you were a neutral.

    Just my opinion.

Ronny has made his appreciation for Lenny clear and has praised him a number of times already. Don't get me wrong the rags in this country would have you believing they're planning to arrange a square go as we speak.

I dont believe we will know this until at least January. I was not negative after a few bad results but I will not go the other route after a couple of wins. Time will tell and any new manager needs time before we pass any judgement positive or negative.

Personally I do think he will come good but we will have to wait until next season to reap the rewards.

Edit: I did not vote as I think their should be an option for undecided. One positive and three negative options but no neutral option

I DESPERATELY want this to work, and to see a return to a Tommy Burns style free flowing game, with great football - but hopefully with all the success that sadly eluded Tommy. I'm just not convinced yet. There are signs that this might come about, but there's also plenty of signs that a decent - not even brilliant - team could drive a bus through us at will with Deila, and that his approach is 'well.. sometimes * happens!', and that he wont budge his vision. That kind of blinkered attitude is fine when we're bossing the minnows, but it'll bite us on the whole, or * off players.
I'm not going to vote because I believe it's still too early to call, but things are shaping up and the next 2 months will tell Ronnys long term future for us... Here's hoping it's success all round and a good long spin for Deila and good football at Parkhead.
