    Do you still use a landline phone at home? Can't think of any reason I'd need to so I don't bother.

    yes need it for broadband , I dont have a fancy phone like you folk , and calls are free with sky .

    Can you not just pay for landline for broadband or do you have to take the phone, tariffs etc.

    Unplugged it about 2 days after it was put in. Constant nuisance calls.

    just realised the title said " do you use a landline " , sorry , answer to that is no . I dont make calls .. ever and 99.9 % dont answer it if it rings , dont open letters either ! I dont need to be contacted ... jonnynaepals !!

    Ive got one because I live in a total black spot as regards mobile phone signal. Get 5g if i walk about 50 feet up the road but zilch in the house.

    Actually getting one in a few weeks thou it's only for the upgrade of internet that I can finally get . I live on west of Ireland and the service here is a * joke. Waiting well over a year for an upgrade and before this, ive been using a * wireless router when everyone is on it, it's slows down to * all :( watching streams is a nightmare.


    Wonder if there'll be a day there's a thread asking, do anyone still use a mobile/smart phone like this one about landlines. Something else might just come out that makes the mobiles useless.
