Jesus Christ! Embarressing..It's not necessarily the fact that we got Dublin, it's the fact that there are far far far far better players out there after whom we could have went for! D'Alessandro's absolutely * class and he's going to this absolutely pish * *-up crap disgusting team that's Portsmouth! * THAT * TEAM!! Who the * do they think they are? European champions?? They're blody relegating and I desperately wish they do!!! We'd probably have a chance for D'alessandro then...

PS BBj's not going anywhere (Clyde hun crap) and the gers bid for riordan has been rejected, don't think they're getting him till the end of today so we can rest untill the summer when we'll surely put in a bid for him (I hope...)

Well we can look at it as Im sure has been mentioned previously:

We need short term cover for a few injuries/defensive problems. Dion Dublin can play up front AND at the back. Also Telfer is soon to be replaced by Wilson permanantly. Currently we are 8 points clear at the top and after dropping a few points recently we should be able to tighten up and sort ourselves out for another good run of clean sheets.

Potentially we can get the double this year and next year have a fantastic young team like:

    Boruc (Marshall)

Wilson McManus Caldwell (Kennedy) Wallace (Ok he needs to be replaced)

    Naka Petrov Keane (Lennon) Maloney

    Beattie (Miller) Zurawski (Hartson)

Thats at least 9 young Scots players who are potentially FIRST TEAM.

How many "Successful" Celtic teams of late can make this claim?

All Strachan is trying to do now is shore up the defence with good experience for low wages while we wait until next season where the youngsters can learn from the older guys and start playing like real first teamers!

Well put SuperMike, GS is looking beyond next month.

Dublin highlighted GS's coaching as a "massive factor" and he played under Alex Ferguson aswell, so maybe GS can make a few young Scots go from strength to strength for club and country and a certain irish scot!

I belive as celtic fans we are being drawn into this * west of scotland media who can only dream of producing a team as quality as celtic. My message to al the bhoys is to look at where rangers are in da league and keep the faith!!

i'm still at a lose as to why we didn't bring in a defender and not a striker who can play at the back, you tell me how that is looking beyond next month? if that was the case he'd have brought in a defender who's natural job is to defend and not a make shift 36 yr old and a striker is the least of our requirements.I love my club and i don't want to see it go down the road of bringing in players as a make shift, when we should be bring in players who at least are on the better side of 30.

lol and that is a good thing? balde played in 9 of the 11 games we've failed to keep a clean sheet, and i cant wait to see how we will all take to caldwell. Honestly he makes virgo look like a star compared to him.

Our defense was better with Balde in there, we got better results aswell.

I havent seen much of Caldwell so I cant comment on how good he is, but ill take what you say with a pinch of salt
