Dexter.

Had a feeling Dexter's first real kill since Rita's death wouldn't go smoothly, hospital scene was great

Liking the way Julia Stiles has been introduced, didn't see that coming at all. Should make for a good next episode though.

 

amazing programme. the new series is definitely just as good as previous. got to love masuka his character is amazing.

 

watched 3rd ep, good as usual, cant wait for next weeks episode

Not much to discuss apart from the ending.

always hearing good things about dexter hopefully buy it soon.also love the wire definently best show ever made.the only bad point about the wire is that nothing else seems good on the telly.thats how much the wire owns.

 

Decent episode.

Looking forward to seeing what happens with the guy following Dexter around for Quinn.

I loved the dialogue in the opening scene where Harrison scratches some kids face and Dexter compare it to his trademark and that he's disposing of evidence and he isn't even 1 year old yet, haha :icon_mrgreen:

 

Loveeeee Dexter, sucks it will be the last season. Dexter is definitely going to end up getting caught or something I think.

 

How do you know it's the last season?

 

cause he had cancer or something and wants to use his money to live with his wife and just * a lot... or something

Really enjoyed that episode.


The marina scenes were so tense. It all tied up a bit conviently at the end though with the guy in the plastic being dumped alongside one of Lumen's attackers.


Lumen in the bathtub and wearing Rita's gown was pretty weird too.


The story looks like it's heading the way I thought it would with Dexter tracking down and killing Lumen's attackers. Wonder if her 'dark passenger' will disappear once Dexter has taken care of all of them.


Anyway it's looking more and more like Dexter is going to get caught by someone this season, imo. Too many characters are interrupting him when he's trying to kill someone: the nanny and Harrison, Lumen, Deb or it could even be Quinn and the Narcotics cop who discover his secret.

 

In a move that should surprise no one, Showtime announced Monday morning that it will be renewing "Dexter" for a sixth season.

“Dexter” is the best suspense drama on television,” said David Nevins, president of entertainment for Showtime Networks. “This is the easiest decision I’ve made since I got to Showtime.”

"Dexter" had its second-highest ratings ever with this season's 10th episode (Nov. 28), delivering 2.54 million viewers, up 44% from the Season 5 premiere (1.77 million). The telecast came behind the Season 4 finale (2.57 million).‬

There is no word yet on when the new season will premiere or which guest stars will be appearing. Season 6’s episodes will go into production next spring in Los Angeles.

Looking forward to season 6 now. Wonder if him splitting with his wife will have any effect on the show, lets hope not.

Anyone watched it yet? Still deciding whether to watch it week by week or wait til it's all released and blitz it all in a day or two.

 

Started watching it this past week again, from the first season, hoping by time I finish it off I'll he able to watch most of the new season in one go
