I think that the admin should start to delete members whom haven't posted at least 20 posts in their first month of joining, thankyou and goodnight !

  2. I think if you haven't made a post in maybe 3 months within joining, you should be deleted.

20 posts seems a little too much in the first month, coz there's guys who don't post alot but just like to see what's being said, e.g. Pereztroff, Dutch Tim, mckorn etc.

Don't know if i would go to that extreme - but i would be deleting * that come on here only looking for tickets and then are never heard from again.

  4. I don't think you should do that, but people who come on for example, there was one guy trying to sell Champion's League tickets for £300.

Does the above post make any sense to anyone else or is it just me!!

  6. Sorry, Davy. I think guys who come on and advertise like one guy did for £300 Champion's League tickets, they should be banned! Don't delete them because they won't know what's going on!

Even if we were to delete all inactive posters, it would become a little difficult after a while because we are getting quite a few new members every day and to keep on top of every member and deleting non posters would become very difficult.

We could try. I'll have a word with the other staff and see what their views are on this.

There are, I imagine, plenty of 'lurkers' out there. (people who join and read posts but dont necessarily post)

It seems to me that any move in the direction of deleting 'inactive' or 'non-contributing posters' is a * diabolical example of crass stupidity.

Nobody ever heard of the phrase.."If it aint broke dont fix it"?

I like to pick and choose my posts so it would be difficult for me to post 20 a month as I'm not on the computer much.

I suppose I could post a lot of * to up my posts but I like to think my posts make a valid point or a decent answer to other posters. Plus I spend time reading the other forums on the site which I enjoy doing, so it would upset me if I were to be deleted from the site, and I would probably do something stupid like punch the Hun next door. :celt_2:

YT is on a temp ban for a week if he wants to explain to you when he gets back on he will or else pm him it's not really fair to have it open for discussion while he's not here. :50:

Sorry I should have cleared this up from the start, the reason I suggested to delete non posters was because I thought that they perhaps took up unnecessary space on the forum i.e if there was a user limit then prospective posters would not be able to join due to people registering then not posting anything, but I do not want to incite any trouble on the forum so I think its best if the whole idea is forgotten about.
