Needs to be far better than he has been the last 2 games. Significant step up no doubt but he needs to learn to be better with the ball when he has it. Him and Christie basically left McGregor on his own to try and build the play from the midfield. Needs to step up and fast. McCarthy getting fit will surely give him a boot up the * for the rest of the season.

 

He'll be fine, but needs to be much more brave in these games.

 

Is he the new N'tcham?

 

He doesn’t have the required fitness or athleticism. He can barely get back when we lose possession never mind him press the opposition.

He got past their full back at one point and looked too * to do the next part of the move.

It’s actually a bit embarrassing. I don’t understand how the * it gets ignored at a pro club.

 

He was poor midweek and poor again today, just dont understand why??

 

He's a fantastic player but my * was he pish today, we really need guys like himself and Christie to step up in these fixtures.

 

Because he doesn’t have the physical attributes to impose his ability onto decent opposition

 

Think he could be like Christie against them.

Rogic will always be the better option against them he's been far more prominent against them. If not him need to change the midfield such as Mccarthy or such.

Play him against the cannon fodder, as he can't compete so far in the big games which have already been proven.

Good squad player, maybe more room for development but outlay was overpriced for me.

I've stated on here numerous times this lad reminds of the Derry Pele with his lack of energy to do a full 90 mins. I'm sure there is an underlying physical issue that doesn't allow these type of players to put it in for the whole game

 

He’s great when in the final 3rd and we’re dominating, but in a battle when the pressure is on he doesn’t turn up. Still young so hopefully the mentality can be improved on.

 

Did nothing, very disappointing. We need players like him to rise to the occasion not become invisible.

 

There was a moment in the first half where he got to the byline and Balogun got the challenge in. Genuinely looked like he was running on treacle

 

He will always be held back by his lack of athleticism. There were several passes played in front of him and it was a bit embarrassing watching him trying to chase them down.

He needs to be able to influence the game in his own way but he wouldn't even turn today when the ball was put into his feet.

He looks good when the team is good and vice versa.

 

He has been disappointing in any game versus the huns or any of the bigger games for a while.

Seems to be the type of player who has been used to being the star player at every youth level and senior team at Motherwell without pushing himself too hard, and struggling with the pressures at Celtic. Needs to have a look at his fitness and work on his pace also if he wants to be a regular for us.

 

Starting to look that way. We have few options in midfield, way too many squad fillers.
