Really happy for the big man. Comes across as a genuine guy. Has always been a very good keeper and deserves to be our No.1 for the European Championships.

You just know that snidey wee rat Alan McGregor would love to steal the No.1 jersey from him for the tournament but Stevie Clarke has too much integrity to let that happen. Only injury can rob Marshall of his place now. Well done Big Man :50:

Gordon has done far worse far more often. Marshall saved penalties from Zahavi and Mitrovic, both who scored 10 goals in the euro qualifying. Gordon definitely would not have done that.
McGregor isn't coming back and I don't think Clarke would ask.

Gordon actively dives the wrong way so he doesnt get a sore hand from a close shot :fear:

    Legend.

Kids all over the country will be having their pals take penalties inty them so they can recreate that save.

Just read DM is now 3rd choice at Derby - would have thought a win-win if he was solid #2 at Celtic this season

I'd pass, he has let in some real howlers for Scotland recently.

If he was willing to come back up the road then I would take him. I'm still not 100% convinced of our new GK but hopefully he will prove me wrong

If he’s no happy being #3 for Derby on most likely £30k+ a week, I seriously doubt he would come to Celtic to be #2 on significantly less wages.

If we're to bring in another keeper, it should be someone mid-20's. Timing it for when Hart leaves/retires. There's no point bringing in another auld head to sit on the bench, we need to be thinking ahead here. There's a couple of keepers already in Scotland I'd take for that role, or we could even get our 'scouting network' to, you know, do their jobs and find us some option in Europe.
