    It might be because of how close he was to Alex Ferguson, or maybe his English sounding surname...
    He just looks like one as well, if I'm being honest. I'm sure he said he wanted to play for them.

    Loads of Rangers fans played for Celtic. King Kenny used to bring his rangers scarf to Celtic training so he could rush over to Ibrox to watch his team.

    We don't bother about these things mate. Darren Fletcher is a Tim. That is probably weird to people of a certain persuasion. Not to us though.

    The reason was he said he wanted to play for them more than he wanted to play for Celtic. I've never spoke about Darren Fletcher for this long before and I'm running out of things to say about him, so this will be my last post on the matter.

    He didn't quite say that though.
    If you read his comments he clearly comes across as a Celtic fan that isn't as "die hard" anti Huns as the rest of us, his reasoning for that is clear when he talks about his reason to also likely play for the Huns.

    That he grew up and played alongside rangers mates who were all part of the rangers youth setup - ie most likely he would have followed his mates in to their youth setup.

    He never said he would have signed for the Huns later in his career or anything, just alluded that the way his childhood friend setup was, he likely would have joined them if be.
