As mentioned my cousin is one of his mates in EK he’s getting paid more at Millwall than he was at Celtic. Lack of desire yet we had a young lad on the bench who got minutes today? Who signed a new four deal in the summer have a few young lads out on loan that’s call development mate. Not sure why you’re so negative about it when it’s clear there is a pathway

Personally, I think it shows us up as a small minded and petty. I also think it's this sort of behaviour that makes any prospect think as soon as they get to talking about a deal if they don't agree immediately they are as well as going elsewhere if there's any initial disagreement. I just think it's really counter productive. It promotes a combative, blame based culture.

There points last season where having Vata available would have strengthended our options. Regardless of whether we believed he was definitely going or not.

Didn't see that post. Fair enough. So more chance of game time and more money.

Good to see Turley get time, if he gets substantial time this season maybe I'll owe you an apology. I just don't see it happening and it's a major part in holding us back as a club. It's the one cheapish thing we could do that would greatly increase our chances of long term success. None of our recent top prospects have decided to stay here. Unless you count Welsh, who underperformed on loan but impressed when Ange had to play him.

Ajer is probably the last player we truly developed properly. No idea why as it's not for lack of facilities. We're just amateurs at it. Clubs fault if they don't make it an obvious win/win decision for them.

it’s the pressure to win every game we can’t through youngsters in and drop points we will get slaughtered for it so it’s a no win situation

We are and have been the strongest team in the league for over a decade. We dominate a weak league and that looks highly unlikely to change. We are a club that is in an envious position to make it work. Arguably there isn't a club in a better position to make it work.

Proper management and structure of the club should definitely allow us to do it without question. A policy of giving prospects actual real game time, balanced out by spending more on fewer better quality players would be my naive take on how we should tackle it.

The fact we aren't doing more is the clubs fault, not those leaving, that's a symptom. Complete lack of imagination or desire to make it work.

Another defeat. At home to a team that's lost their first 3 league games in League 1. Gonna be a long season for him. Stupid choice he's made.

Ouch. Nasty debut by the looks of it.

Really don't wish Kelly anything but success but really, really can't see it happening.
