    So your just guessing...

And you've contradicted yourself by saying "Pep's go to guy" when you said earlier man city told "us" to "fix him"

Man city sent him to Barcelona to their specialist to get the op. Who paid for it? * knows, you are just guessing it was us.

He went to City’s Spanish doctor and they looked after him.

Who footed the bill is completely immaterial, it was more than likely City but if it was us then who GAF? It would be fair...

Not sure why its upset you, just bizarre to keep an injured player so long, it's probably insurance anyway.

In terms of my comment on Pep, think most people would rather use someone they trust rather than let us use someone else.

Injured or not, he is not the answer to our current predicament.
If we were romping the league, we could maybe have tried him.
But the dog fight we now find ourselves in, its no time for experimenting.

This isn't a comment about the suitability of Arzani, one way or another, but rather in response to this post, in and of itself.

Wingers are flair players, but with that comes a degree of mercurial prowess. Don't kid yourself that a winger is going to have a blinder every single game, they are prone to form as is any other player. And it doesn't matter if we are talking about the likes of James Forrest, Paddy Roberts, Paddy McCourt, Aiden McGeady, Shaun Maloney et al right through to the very best that have worn the Hoops, the likes of Davie 'the Dancer' Hamilton, Patsy Gallagher, Tommy McInally, Adam MacLean, Charlie Tully and yes, even the greatest of them all, Jinky Johnstone.

At their best every one of these was simply unplayable, the stuff that gives opposition fullbacks cold sweats and sleepless nights, but there is no certainty that any player is beyond suffering a dip, as exemplfied by the current wobble in form that Forrest is going through. Hitting peak form and staying there for extended periods is much easier said than done. Wingers are always a bit of a risk, requiring experimentation, because they themselves often experiment with the ball and if one is not working then sometimes need to try another. As well drilled and prepared as players are nowadays, there is still a degree of this position more than most, of being a calculated gamble.

A good chance to get minutes off the bench today.

Could play left or right which is a bonus given our ever growing injury list.

At least he got 6 mins.

We really need to start killing pish teams off a lot sooner, It’s been the same story for a while now.

Lennon doesn’t make subs because we’re only 1 goal up and seems to think it’s too risky to make a change.
