This is gonna sound weird but I felt something dodgy Sunday when Boyata the ultimate snake was in and Dembele was hands to his mouth saying thing's to him before the game with a sort of grin and after the goal also..

Didn't speculate to accumulate in regards to backing Brendan in getting in the the Champions League when every man and his dog knew what was required. Missed out on various target's through penny pinching. Now we're destined to lose player's..

How can they no see how counter productive this is?

Don't fully back a successful manager. Lose out on dining at the top table and the finances that come with it. Then ultimately start to lose your best player's. Brendan himself will go at some point soon I'd imagine because of this fiasco..

The horrible thing is we knew the team needed strengthening and freshening up, particularly at the back but look at the rest..

Dembele goes. 2 strikers. 1 who has been out of form and looks a shadow of what he was due to consistent injuries and the other an excellent signing but will need help..

Dembele's best pal Ntcham who is already drumming up interest and reportedly open to moving will be wanting away in January or so now..

Broony another season down the line. Possibly couldn't maintain another..

That's the whole central midfield with nothing behind it. Our best striker if he goes..

Boyata our best centre back wants away as do many of us..

Lustig, Gordon finished in my book but could scrape another season season under Brendan..

We're gonna be in a major transitional period by the end of this season latest, with a board who won't back us to get in to the big tournament, with a much weaker squad..

As Brendan said himself, we didn't need an overhaul. Just a few quality additions.

I wasn't keen on McGinn but it made sense in hindsight. Centre mid to step in. A centre half and right back..

If we'd got those over the line the transition would then have only been straight swaps for Dembele for example and say a playmaker..

Now we'll have plenty of gaps to fill. Too many for the board to shell out..

We're in trouble moving forward in my opinion..

I'm not totally surprised either but it takes a certain level of incompetence to allow us to get in this state after the seasons we've had recently.

It's gross mismanagement of the highest order. This was supposed to be a simple window, get a CB, CM and RB including Eddie (who we never in a million years spent £9m on btw.) We have a sound base of a good team who just needed a few injections of quality. The men in charge are either trying to * it up on purpose or they are just terrible at their job. Either way serious questions of those who run our club because this has been a disgrace.
