    England should stop picking all rounders. Trust the batters to get the runs and trust the bowlers to get the wickets. I'm delighted for the Windies, hopefully this team can develop and get back to the good old days.

    I was hugely impressed with Jermaine Blackwood. Because the Regional Four Day Competition isn't the strongest he was learning on the job. He showed that he is very composed, being able to sit there a wait for the right ball to go at. In the first Test he out Chanderpaul'd Chanderpaul. Plus, when he wanted he could really give the ball a smack.

    And that might be the end of Chanderpaul. He dropped anchor in the first game but struggled for the rest. One of the greats.

    Cricket Ireland will be raging as they will have to refund tickets won't they? I went to Scotland England a few years ago and they forced the players out in the rain just so they could keep the cash.

    I'm sure England are relieved though - huge banana skin for them avoided.

    If NZ lose either Anderson or Watling before the end of the day I think that will be them finished. Both survive and they've got a decent chance.
