Was wondering on that as well

Celtic will have offered more money for less promised game time, than st mirren who will have expected first team keeper.

Unless he is willing to tell us that Celtic offered as little as £1-2k a week?

    * a greedy *, that interview shows it clear as day, he's looking for as big a pay day off us as he can get.
Please Celtic, do is all the favour and just patch the * now.

He called is “they” and didn’t just say Celtic the way anyone would with any semblance of affection for the club. His first couple of seasons he actually played well, however he can’t save a penalty and his distribution is a disgrace. Most of the reason why he is an “excellent shot stopper” is the fact that he has to make up for his own howling mistake in the first place. Case in point Ibrox a few seasons back when people thought he had a great game because he made some great saves that came from his * woeful distribution!!!!

    He can * OFF

He has to be gone, even if we didn't get Forster back and even if bain was number 1 and we didn't buy anyone else I'd like to see hazard or doohan act as second choice before him. There is absolutely no reason to keep him.

He literally whinged to the media about how it was unfair on him that we brought Fraser Forster in (imagine a football club wanting to improve their team), now he is sulking because he's actually going to be paid what he's really worth. I can't see how anyone can defend his attitude anymore, no wonder he was crap in Europe with an attitude like that.

You can sometimes, rarely, but sometimes forgive a howler.

His post match interview put paid to that ever happening.

I also remember him being excited to talk about his performance in the 1-0 defeat to them in the New Year 2018/19 game. He was talking up how he had made a lot of saves. The reality was his poor distribution continually gave them the ball in our final third and had them baring down on our goal with everyone out of position, so he had to make those saves to cover his prior mistakes.

For me it's definitely time to move on, if we had been scouting properly we should have sold Craig when Chelsea came calling a couple of years back but we didn't have a replacement lined up. Much like the Boyata situation two summers ago.

No one could have predicted he'd have been as good as he was when first came in, we all had doubts about his ability after his injury record and retirement as a result.

He done a great job, but such is life in football, things happen that see players form just go through the floor and stay there, strange really. But he will have my thanks nonetheless.

If he does go I'll always remember him fondly for turning his back on the huns and signing for us after training and getting treatment for them for a year. Was a complete steal at the time and when Forster left our only other option was Zaluska. He played a big part in getting us to the 9 even if Forster is obviously several classes above him now.

Probably his last chance at a decent contract.. can't blame him for trying to get a longer deal or better terms. But in football stakes.. to be part of the 10 and be forever in the record books would outweigh that for many players.

I want Foster and not fussed who the back up is.. Bain done a decent job but if Gordon leaves then we should grab the keeper St Mirren had last year - he is on a free and he knows the Scottish league

My guess is celtic have offered him a holding deal but he gets a fairly large amount if he plays. But he may just want to play football which I wouldn't blame him. He had 2 years without a club, ages out with injuries, just wants to play rather than be a bench warmer.
