    He can do whatever the * he wants with the ball when it's at his feet tomorrow as long as he keeps it away from the back of the net.

    That's where we're at just now, forget distribution and passing out from the back.

    Was watching the DR pre match build up and Jackson/Gannon and Swan were laughing like * at him, ripping the pish asking if he's saved a shot. *'s, but it's what many of us are saying..

    Gordon got a big cheer coming on Saturday and had relatively nothing to do, so should come in to this with a bit more confidence..

    I don't think too many cross ball's are gonna be a problem for his flapping, and i also don't think his kicking will be much of an issue. Clear lines and keep it simple. If he can, I'd like his distribution to mainly be with his hand's, unless it's pass back's and he can't..

    I actually don't think Gordon's kicking is awful.

    He just has a tendency to make the wrong decision with it. Launching the ball to Forrest's head for example.

    He's improving with that though.

    Another sign of a good manager from Rodgers that he can adapt his players selection, as well as his tactics, when he sees it's not working. Many nanagers would've just persevered with the guys they signed...

    This is his big chance. At the moment it is clear that Rodgers sees De Vries as his first-choice keeper. This isn't like Alloa, where he was never going to have to make many saves and the focus was always going to be on his kicking; tonight he will be very, very busy. No doubt they are so clinical that one or two of their shots will be simply unsaveable; but I do believe there will be a few that will be merely almost unsaveable (there always seem to be).

    We need a massive, massive performance from our goalie tonight and we know Gordon is capable of that (in contrast I've seen nothing from De Vries to suggest he is). If he rolls back the years and puts in one of those performances, it will be very difficult to drop him.

    Come on, Craig, I know you are capable of this!
